Business opportunities abound everywhere. The power to actually grab on these opportunities is what is lacking. People find themselves evaluating different ideas, but they cannot put their ideas into the realms of reality, because they are afraid to act. “What if it fails”, yes, actually that is a reasonable thinking. Every one at one point or the other still has to be pessimistic in their approach, but on the other hand, have you actually considered what is attainable if it works? Its' an equation we have to balance ourselves. Naturally, it is crazy to just put ones hope into ventures that your are unsure of, but if you are sure of where you're heading to, if you have 60% conviction that what you plan on doing is going to produce nothing more than fruitfulness, my advice to you today is to ACT! I'll share a bit of a story with you about my father. My dad was into foam production. When he started, nothing was available to him. He didn't have the foam production knowledge, no skills, in fact, he knew practically nothing as far as foam production was concerned. Of course, he knew that their where downsides to the business, he knew the risk he was putting his family into by investing his last income on this business line, but what lead him on was the zeal and belief in himself. Probably, if he had listened to people and their bluffing, he would have made mistake somewhere along the line or worst still, he wouldn't have started the business in the first place. Also, if he had paid attention to how inexperienced he was, I mean, I'm talking about someone who didn't even have anything to do with science, his lack of skill, and all what not would have discouraged him. But instead of brooding over the “If's”, he decided to concentrate and explore on the possibilities abound to him. He told himself that, “Even if I'm a dummy in this field, I can learn”. Well most people might think its crazy, cause actually, no matter what, the risk is always there. But remember, I'm talking of activities that you're 60% sure are attainable. I'm not implying that you should use your last cash and invest on empty aspirations. Rather, if you believe that whatever you plan on doing is genuine, then leave your fears behind. Fear is only but a coward who only shows up when we have problems just to discourage us from achieving our full potentials. So when ever you reach this stage in your life where you are sure of what your intentions are, but the fear deep inside keeps telling you that you are a failure, know that you are almost on your way to greatness and the only thing stopping you is not fear but YOU.
